• How to use professional networks and professional bodies to a ssist your development

• Setting development objectives and devising a plan to achieve the targets you have set yourself

• Exploring the value of constructive feedback

• Reviewing and monitoring your progress as you implement your personal professional development plan.

Unit Three:

Essential principles of leadership and management.

This unit provides the learner with an understanding of the concepts of leadership and managerial effectiveness within organisations. The unit also provides an introduction to the principles and practices of managing the performance of individuals in organisations.

• Gaining insights on management and leadership in organisation s and how to interpret and use the key terms such as levels, leadership, management,responsibility and accountability, vision and values

Unit Four:

Operational and human resources planning management.

This unit provides the learner with an understanding of the principles and practice of operational planning and physical resource management In organisations. The unit also provides an introduction to health and safety requirements when managing work activities in organisations.

• Managing physical resources and how to under take workforce planning and talent management.

• Legal principles and how these are applied within an organisation through the use of health and safety policies and procedures and risk assessments.
