Mustaqbal
Mustaqbal is Qatar Skills Academy’s programme for Qatari high school graduates entering the workforce. Mustaqbal is an integrated, three stage programme running from September to July. Trainees can be registered either through their sponsoring employer or, independently if not yet sponsored. The aim of Mustaqbal is to ensure all trainees are work-ready, have a relevant, internationally recognised qualification occupational skill for their target job position, and have completed some work experience. The curriculum is structured into three parts: core skills (English and ICT); work skills (communication, teamwork and time management); BTEC National qualifications in occupations such as IT, Telecoms, Business, Entrepreneurship and Travel & Tourism. Each learner receives an individual learning plan on entry, as it is possible to adjust the length of time spent on different parts of the curriculum.
