IATA Training Partner Congress Singapore

Ian White attended the 2012 IATA Training Partner Congress in Singapore. This gathering of representatives from IATA’s network of Authorised Training Centres was an opportunity to share best practice and hear from IATA what the latest trends and developments are. The Congress focused one whole day on the Harvard Manage Mentor product, a suite of 44 ‘bite-sized’ learning module for managers. IATA is encouraging ATCs to incorporate a management development component into its functional courses. One outcome for Qatar Skills Academy was a new strategy to promote e-learning for its foundation and consultant courses. This will make the courses more flexible to access.
